WIP: Mazda MX-5
Well, after going to Skip Barber Driving School as a 21st birthday present, I had the pleasure to drive both an RX-8 and an MX-5. Then went out and bought a kit of each. This is the MX-5, and the paint job is from a can. I've taken my time and made sure each coat of paint was mirror smooth before I applied the next coat, and then I polished the bumpers, but not the body yet. I almost forgot to do the hood, so that's drying right now. I'm really proud of the paint job. It's a color called Ice Blue.

Great start....are you going to do SkipBarber Racing School decals?
And a nice diorama? That'd be stunning! Beautiful paint, BTW.

Looking forward to seeing this one built! I have the Mazdaspeed version to build someday.
Nice color; I do think that the underhood piece (the sheetmetal portions at least) are supposed to be body color as well.
