Skyline Wanted
Look at all this potential business Motorex are losing.
I got a guy going who emailed me at NissanSkyline.com who wants a skyline 2000 twin turbo for 50k. I will try and get one for him second hand etc and make a profit. Anyone seen one for roughly 50k second hand? Many people out there still don't know about Motorex. Motorex, get off your ass and buy my name. :finger: |

you are full of shit if you think you are gonna get a 2000 gtr for 50K, and if you can actually pull that off, then why would you sell your name to motorex, why not just open up your own shop and sell cars for 40 grand less than they do?:bandit:

Are we talking 50k dollars or pounds.
In England you can buy a R34GTR for a little over $50k. |

NissanSkyline what do you know about the DOT, EPA, US Customs, and Highway and Safety Admin. If you sell an American a GTR for $50k you still have to tell your buyer that these agencies need to be contacted and the car brought into compliance within 120 days or the car will be crushed.

I really do not think MotoRex has to worry about your import buisness, unless you are willing to do some major research, and be able to provide a product that will be street legal as soon as it gets off the boat. Happy Researching.

Hello eveyone lets clear this up. I can not import New skylines.
I am talking about finding quality used skylines already motorex converted, which are cheaper. Motorex cars are second hand anyway. Sorry if you thought I was talking about new ones. |

how many skylines do you think there are in the US that are already motorex converted? and on top of that, for sale. I have only seen 1 for sale outside of motorex, and it was a 96 r33 that was for sale right at 50 grand. I would guess there are no more than 10 motorex 'lines in the US not sitting on the motorex lot. :bandit:

I was talking about finding 1 car for 1 guy, not a business.
A Motorex converted car second hand. This is cheaper than buying a 'new' one from Motorex. Everyone else totally mis interpreted it! I never said I can import new ones at all! Sorry all you guys who emailed me. If all Motorex's cars are on their lot, I can't say there business is doing to well :smoka: Second hand Us ones don't exist eh? I can get s*t loads of second hand ones in the uk. shame. Check the link to see 100+ nice used uk ones at autotrader.co.uk http://atsearch.autotrader.co.uk/car...10&image2.y=12 |

I still don't understand though,
In the uk, we too only have 1 company called motorsport who imports them, and only 50 and year like in the usa. America however is about 30+ times bigger! I guess that ratio means anyone in the usa who gets one doesn't ever want to sell it right? They are 30 times rarer. I think motorex are ripping people off with its 25k for a conversion though. If they lowered it, the usa market would grow. You should be given 200 cars a year |

nissanskyline....i dont think u understand why the cars are not popular in america. motorex crash tested 6 cars, and owns the rights to those crash tests, that alone is at least 300-400 grand that they have to absorb, plus there is the fact that they still need to have numerous conversions done to them which also requires money, plus the cost of shipping them over seas. now living in the uk u dont have to worry about the crash tests or the mods so that right there is a ton of money you save. and yes there was a used r33 motorex converted gtr on ebay a few weeks ago and it was set to sell at 50 grand, pretty much what motorex would want from you:bandit:

WTF? I dont understand it either. What's ur point? In the UK, Nissan officially markets the car for 50K squid. While in the US NO ONE!

yeah b/c nissan does not support the sale of the gtr in the US. If they did then they would make a left hand drive model. and that alone would probably make it more expensive:bandit:

The only country that officially has them for sale is Australia/New Zealand.
They need some modification in the uk too, but not as much. In the UK they cost £50k, which I suppose according to what we earn is like $50k to you, even though we are technically almost paying $70-80k. To us it's the equivalent of you paying $50k according to average earnings etc. |
