1996 Rodeo

How can I identify what time in 1996 my Rodeo was manufactured. I see that the type of alternator to purchase is dependent on whether it was early/mid year or late year. Thanks in advance for your help. David

Re: 1996 Rodeo

Open your drivers door, there should be a placard on the truck right next to the drivers seat. Should have the manufactored date.

Otherwise, I'm almost positive that you use the same alternator I do - and my truck was built in May of '97, it was along the last one's built for the 1st generation Rodeo's.
