94 olds b front diff.....

Hello, got a question. I recently had my rear and front diff serviced and I have not been driving it recently but notice now the front is leaking gear oil bad. I know its not motor oil due to odor. The drivers side is oil soaked looking while the pass side is fine. The front does make a winning sound when driving, it made that sound b4 i had it serviced and the mechanic said the front oil looked black. Shortly after getting serviced the rear did leak a little but is fine now. Is there any kind of damage that I could be causing. I didnt get a chance to check the fluid level this weekend and only drove it a short distance and I put cardboard under the front to see how much is leaking and im not happy at all. I love my bravada and dont have money for a new front axel or awd unit. Im gonna call the guy tomorrow and see if he can look into it. Kinda sux because my other vehicle a 93 jimmy is having prob with the charging system, think its the alt but right now is not reliable but i dont want to drive the olds till its fixed............

Re: 94 olds b front diff.....

You need to check the oil level in the Bravada front differential...maybe it was overfilled.
Another option is the Bravada alternator might fit the Jimmy.

Welcome to AF
P1201 is a OBD11 code for no 1 cyl open injector circuit.
Make sure it is plugged up and or ohm it out good.

But you have posted in the Chev. Blazer problems forum.
Look round and find the Olds Acura Forum and repost in there for more help.
And give them all of the info you have on the problem and car.
Good Luck
