Aveo-Want to buy-What MPG will it get??

Okay have done much research and the Aveo is a nice car that i'm thinking of buying. What I need to know what is the actual MPG I can expect to get with it? The driving would be a daily commute of 85 miles and 95% of that is interstate driving. I want to go with the automatic transmission. Many thanks!

My guess is that you will get something in the 35mpg range with 95% highway driving and an automatic. Here is a link to the EPA fuel economy results of actual drivers for the 2007 Aveo 5:

my 04 aveo hatchback w/auto gets 35 highway, yet horrible in stop and go. all in all i love this car!

it gets good on the highway upper 30s but in the city it sucks. i think its because in the city it has to try so hard just to keep up with traffic that it consumes more fuel than needed.
