00 yukon hydraulic lifters

my 00 yukon denali just gave me another problem after the rattleling noise at start up, this morning i checked my fluids and i was really low on coolant, i filled it up and i went to check my oil and what i expected to see was oil but what i saw was like a cocoa in my engine maybe a mixture of coolant and oil, i read something about the hydraulic lifters could this be the problem, any ideas? am i in the right path

How would the hydraulic lifters cause coolant to mix with the oil?, usually an intake gasket leak causes this. Get it done asap and get that oil out of there even quicker, that intermix can damage the bearings

thanks...well it ended up being the head gasket its supposed to be very well known GM problem with dexcool, its incredible how thousands of people complaind about this same issue, GM needs to do something about this, definetly and not acceptable to pay $979 to repair a vortec that its suppose to last you a lifetime.
