93 t0 87 Engine swap

Here is what I have so far and I am now stumped. I monkeyed with me car a bit and found that the fuel pump would not work unless hot wired, no spark and a few other things I am not sure of.
I hard wired the fuel pump today with a jumper connection and it does work, but with a little snooping around I connected an orange and now I get spark. The problem is the stupid engine will not stay running unless I hold the ignition switch in the start position. What could this possibly be.
I changed out the engine compartment wiring and computer from the 93 and left the computer and wiring for the interior wiring in it from the 87. I am wondering what is going on because this is the first time I have done this. I know for a fact that I have all engine wiring done and correct. I am only having issues on three areas and thos being plugs. Got any clues?
