Custom wide arch 1:24 skyline WIP my first build

Hi all, this is my first plastic model car and I am planning to have quite a detailed WIP thread since these types of threads have been very helpful in starting off on my first project. Hope all goes well

had to get some pics here... works on the front fenders

had the hood, trunklid and doors cut out... broke one sideskirt from the fender :-(

prepared where trunk lid will sit and got the seperated clear windows from windshield...

got chassis engine parts and suspension and shock painted flat black...

so, painted calipers in red and got the discs in silver and weathered a bit. painted the shocks in red also and assembled the front suspension. In the photo you can see some red on the disc brake also... that already has been sorted

work on body is progressing also...couple of pics. Also flush the trunk lid but not quite happy with the gap. I was thinking of repairing with putty.. any suggestions? The front fender also needs a couple rounds of putty and wet sanding
