2000 Sebring won't start

Just filled the car with fuel and went to start and the car didn't start. If starting fluid is poured there is a spark, but will not turn over. Any ideas? Need to get this fixed asap!!! Figure there is a mix up in the ratio for air/fuel maybe the mass air sensor? You can hear the fuel pump turn on so I don't think it's that...but maybe. Thanks!

Melanie

Re: 2000 Sebring won't start

i had something similar happen to me in a thunderbird i once owned. my mechanic had to play around with the injectors or the throttle or something. i'm not really sure what he did to get the car started, but he told me i most likely had filled my tank with bad gas. I filled up right after a rain storm and the gas station i went to was notorious for water gettng in their tanks. once i got it up and running he told me to put some water remover and octane booster in my tank. if thats not your problem i can only imagine it to be a sensor, or maybe a dirty air filter, but i don't think that would keep it from starting.
