P1775 and 0736 Codes

I am having a problem with My 1998 Grand Caravan and When I check I get these codes. I have changed the fluid and filter. It only seems to happen on long drives. when I only use it for local drives I don't have any problems. Anyone have any ideas as to where to start checking?

P1775 Sol.SW.Value latched in TCC position
P0736 Reverse incorrect gear ratio

It doesn't go into limp mode. It does seem to downshift hard as I slow down.
and it seems to take a while to engage after I get the check engine light.
