03 grand am transmiision problem after coolant change

Today i flushed the engine and radiator. Since i couldn't find a drain i removed the lower transmission line but realized it wouldn't work so put back on removed lower coolant hose proceeded to finish and now the automatic trans is not running right. The RPM's will rise then tranny will kick in then it keeps doing it, now it won't go into gear? All I did was disconnect the lower trans line. Could I have gotten a sensor wet? thanks for any help

Re: 03 grand am transmiision problem after coolant change

Welcome to AF.

Might just be low on fluid.
Though as thier is no dipstick it'll need checked with a lift.
Other wise take it in to a trans shop or a shop that can check for trans trouble codes.

Another thing, when it slips I wouldnt keep reving it up
You could break something, and you'll find things like this in the trans drain pan......

Dont put it off to long....
