Question Pcm module

what do they do when they check the PCM for proper operation and what do they do if it does not have proper operation?

They check for any codes and/other problems.If there is a problem, they more or less do an update from the factory spec.

They also check for proper 2-way communication to/from the sensors and actuators, proper power supply and grounding, and they check the flash programming for errors or updates.
