H22 swap

Im looking to swap a h22 into my si, about how much would it cost to have it swaped if I paid a mechanic to do it??

im just trying to figure out if I have the money for the engine and the swap.

back when i had an h22 in my ex... it was like 4,000. but it really depends on who you go to. check out jhotimports.com and click the link to go to their ebay store. last time i checked they had some full h22 swaps that looked great.

Just curious, why do you want to go H22?
Most of it depends on the price of the motor and where you get it from.

I have a 6th gen manual tranny accord. Considering an h22 swap. Will a h22 bolt directly up to a f23a manual transmission. This would be ideal considering finding an h22 without tranny will be cheaper. I have searched a few forums for the past hour looking for this info, have been finding mixed answers.

yup, H-series and F-series (except the S2000 obviously) transmissions are interchangeable.

50HP gain 100,000km mileage drop for under 2000$. Sounds good to me.
