WRX vs EVO: who wins

I'm glad to see how popular the WRX has become in the U.S. But if u guys are crazy over this car what about after your first taste of the Evolution? Talk about a mad car, this baby is pure monster (even though the VIII will apparently be tame compared to earlier versions) and after one taste of it i'm sure u'll be willing to part ways with the REX.

I would part with a WRX but not an STI. An STI is a better mach up than a wrx the STI was built to combat the EVO and their both coming at the same time! can any one say car wars?

Well I Live in the Caribbean and we are allowed to import j-spec vehicles. From what I've seen on the home front the Evolution still manages to eek out over the STi (Of course here on these small winding roads a lot has to do with the driver). I have no idea however it works in the states since versions arriving in the U.S. seem to be slightly watered down. But the war between the WRX and EVO is an emerging warfare of tremendous proportions and it will be interesting to see who wins the U.S. battle. Interesting to note is that there is the WRX, the WRX STi, and then a couple of limited edition STi's in japan which outperform stock STi's. These limited edition STi's are the ones that definitely give EVO the jump.
