Looking to sell : 1999 Eclipse.

Well with the way things are going i'm in a bad spot and this is the only car I actually own so I need to get rid of it lol...

Heres the skinny on the car : 1999 RS 5 speed.
76,000 miles, new hoses , new brakes , new rotors , new updated dsm rims 16" with eagle RS-A's , M-3 mirrors , mp3 / cd deck with amp kit , dvd memory unit, tv satellite reciever , dual slot gauge pod , otto-r intake full tube , new speakers all around , engine / coolant flush 2000 miles ago , new exhaust with 3" tip , CF wiper blades , vinyl headliner, cruise control, power mirrors ( converted into a GS over time. ) alarm , remote locks , gps tracking unit , vehicle immobilizer unit with removeable chip, gold battery terminals, 10mm spark wires , msd coil , dynomated interior , Forza strut bar, new undercoating about 3 K ago , Lots and lots of time and money and work invested in other replacements like maintainnig shits :P

The car for the most part is unmolested and in top shape. It's not really my daily driver as it's not under warranty but I drive it every chance I can and it still rolls like new.

The only issues with the car is all outside crap such as the headlight uv fogging issues. soemthing weird with the hoods lip, that way when I got it , and someone attempted to key my car twice but only scratched the surface lol.

Anywho as post states , looking to sell it and pay off a few bills I forgot about lol so I was seeing what this is worth to all you DSM'rs out there. And for all you guys who been keeping up on my posts , you know what i have been seeking there as far as help with problems and stuff go, for the most part it's cherry :P

how much are you looking for? It is only an RS. I'm looking for an eclipse for my sister right now to be a reliable daily driver to replace her (my old) 93 crapalier.

I have no clue really..I know I just paid way too much for it and put a lot of time and money in it and I won't get it all back but some would be nice which is why I was asking the rest of the DSM'rs what they thought :P

It's only an RS ? Dude the potential of an RS is just as good as a GSX or an TSI I've killed some supposedly more powerful vehicles with it so it gets up and moves it's not like some typical POS beater youd buy at auction. Don't knock the RS man :P


Daily driver ? I've never had problems with it. Like I said i am just looking for some prices so toss some at me and I'll see how it plays into my budgeting lol...

Seen a guy at RMR running a 700 HP 420A.
Point being , with a deep enough pocket it can be. I prefer the RS , lighter and less issues save thousands in the long run when the others crank walk :P

where are you located at and any known problems mechanically (the costmetic ones are okay)? My sister isn't really in a position to fix them and I'm not around or located in the same state as her to do it myself. She needs a daily driver she can take to and from school without worry about an hour each way.

If you can sincerely offer that I'd consider coming to see it depending on where it's located.I'm sure we could do a bit batter then your asking price for it if it was in the right place. So let me know.

Yeah like I said the car is pretty much cherry all around. I even went through the painstaking efforts of removing and steam washing the carpet lol. The unsightly type things with the car are only the head light fogging thing however I have a set of halo clears in the closet along with some clear corners. Someone tried but failed at keying the driver side and left a minute scratch lol it will most likely buff out...retards I tell you. If your going to key it , make sure it goes deep lol. The car is awsome all around and has been good to me since I picked it up. I'm in Salt lake city,UT unfortunately lol.

Edit : oh oh a small scratch on the bottom corners of the bumper XP
and for more pics of exterior for now , check out the place of pics in signature. it's cold so dont let the frost misguide you for faded paint lol..also you can see the whit elike from the wannabe keying.

Kinda far (she's in PA) but I wonder if my sister would be willing to pay for shipping if you would be willing to do that. I'll talk to her later tonight and get back to you. It's the right price and the ones around here are pretty beat to crap. Yours looks in decent shape.

Few more pics but a couple weeks old put up. Shipping not a big deal i would recommend Mayflower or Roadway.Who ever gets the car has to take all the parts I got for it too ie : GS doors , seats , calipers , cv's , old rims , etc...lol.
