Mini Cooper Color Help
Anyone can help me identify which color paint would be closest to the mini in the pics.
I only have access to tamiya / mr color paints. Thanks! ![]()

Re: Mini Cooper Color Help
Probably TS-54 Lt. Metallic Blue, but it will be darker than the color on the Mini. There is no match as far as I know in the Tamiya line to that color.

Re: Mini Cooper Color Help
If you have an airbrush, find out the original Mini color name/number and order paint form hiroboy.com
IIRC he has a line of Mini colors in his online store

Re: Mini Cooper Color Help
You could also try automotive touch-up paint. You might get lucky and find it (Or a match) at Autozone or Walmart or something. You can also get a spray can mixed by a dealership but I'm told it can be expensive (I wanted some Nissan LeMans Sunset, somebody here said it would be about $15-20 for a can).
The easiest solution would be to paint it Pepper White (Tamiya TS-7 Racing White, or as an English told me, 'dirty socks' lol) with a black roof, which is how the New Mini looks best LOL |

Re: Mini Cooper Color Help
Thanks for the reply guys, I would probably try out with a white base and light metallic blue to see the results first.
