i know what you mean though obviously
still I think if you have to ask anything about this engine swap topic you can't do it. I am almost positive I couldn't and would never attempt it.

Re: definatly getting a new engine

It is possible with a shitload of changes and a shitload of parts, but hardly worth the time and money to end up with a basic GS with a stock 4g63 swapped into it... Just sell it and buy one if you want a turbo so bad. Or do what Silver did and build up a 420a and turbocharge it.

Re: definatly getting a new engine

I actually almost got into doing this myself with my older GS parts car...cash isnt much of an issue with me and I was kinda looking for a challenge to pass some free time. But in the end i decided I might just buy a VR-4 or something for the money.

Better get some damn good internals, stock are shit and will fail with a mesely 7 psi IC'd. Also , i'd be looking into a better tire set as well and a LSD.

Because the motor, tranny, and everything is 180 degrees the wrong way between the two...

Hmm good question. Perhaps because I don't sit in my mothers basement and play dungeon and dragons all day long and consider the internet and forums and posts and things of the sort worth anything more than what they are so basically I don't put too much effort into anything because I really don't give a crap ?

Don't like it , don't look.
