are these stock or aftermarket?

Alright well today I found out a lot about my under dash area. The owner before me had an alarm system, and it seems as though he left EVERYTHING except the control unit. Everything was still wired, and I even found some harnesses, sirens, and a couple of circuit boards. I was just curious as to if these two boxes are stock or not.

After searching google I found that the black autopage box is a vehicle paging security system. It has two antenna inputs and a wiring harness attached. It has the model number tx-4000D.

As for the curcuit board in the clear housing, it was zip tied up inside the dash and the wires were all attached, but I'm pretty sure they were not connected to anything, and were not working. All I can see on it is "Directed Electronics Incorporated".

I did all this because I purchased a new security system, and I wanna start fresh down there. So I tore out all the aftermarket wires that weren't connected to anything, which also made a problem... now my car wont start. I hear the starter click, and all power works, but the battery gauge needle doesn't jump as normal when trying to start up, which leads me to believe I accidently cut an ignition wire. Right now I have a yellow wire with a black stripe that isn't connected to its better half. I have to find an extension because they wont reach eachother, but could this be my problem?

Re: are these stock or aftermarket?

Well without the sarcasm that would have been a wonderful answer. I've never seen them before, so I was just curious.

Re: are these stock or aftermarket?

if there is an electronic device, or anything mechanical/electronic for that matter, that has a name other than "Mitsubishi" on it, then 99% of the time its 'NOT STOCK'. only exception i can think of are the FIAV on the throttle body made by Mikuni and the power steering pump made by iforgetwho, and of course the transfer case and AWD trannies made by Getrag.

Re: are these stock or aftermarket?

yea it was yellow with a black stripe, sorry bout that. I got that all squared away. It had a relay in between the wire. A shock sensor seems right. LOL I find out that after I purchase a security system, all I really needed was the control unit haha. Oh well, but I have one more question.

Is the door lock power relay in the box behind the main fuse panel under the dash? I ask because I need to find out where the previous owner disabled the locks. Also, if this helps, the block only has one relay in it, I think there's like 3 or 4 other connections for more relays.
