Vibrating Noise Around The Gas Tank
I have had this vibrating noise around my gas tank some poeple have said that my fuel pump is loose inside and others say that it has to be in the exgaust system but the muffler shop says no. Please Help!!

Noises are tough to track down sometimes.
It Could be a loose fuel pump but you would experiance driveability issues, like little or not enough fuel. One other thing is the fuel trap inside the gas tank may have came loose allowing it to slide around, which can damage the pup and fuel line inside the tank. Also Some GA's have had broken coil springs that would rattle, could even be a rear brake clunking. ![]() You'll just have to realy look it over and try and isolate the exact area where its coming from.
