Anybody here from central Pennsylvania?

I was just wondering if there was anybody from the central PA area. I live near Lewisburg (home of Bucknell University) about 1 hour north of Harrisburg and 45 mins east of Penn State (State College). Anybody know where that is?

I'm in williamsport, but originally from carlisle. Know where I'm talking about? I know exactly where you are. You guys get any race/car meets around there?

yeah I know where you mean, when I was younger I went to the little league world series every year, and now my brother goes to penn college. we also go to carlisle for the sport compact nationals every year in may. did you ever see a yellow del sol in williamsport that is for sale now because the owner blew up the engine I guess? my bro said it is really the only sol he has seen up there. as for shows or anything, well not really other than at Pep Boys and stuff like that once a summer or so, and as for racing there is a 1/4 mile track at Beaver Springs about 20 miles from here which is pretty popular, maybe you have heard of it, I was only there once and it wasn't bad. also I hear there is a lot of cruising and nice cars up there on friday and saturday nights and I have thought about driving up there a couple of times but I haven't yet.

You mean there are non-Amish people in central PA???

Just playin. PA has tons of decent cars. I was up at CCN at Carlisle this year. It was my first time there, and it was AWESOME! I'm definately planning on a repeat performance next year. Too bad I won't be able to enter yet again. My friend's Lude will probably go in the competition again.

It's cool. I've got plenty of family in PA. My aunt, cousin, and godfather all live in Quakertown or Allentown. If any of you listen to B104 out of Allentown, my cousin is Stephanie Wells.

Yupers, I know the North Hills. Not very well, but I know Mars and Butler, PA. I'm south of the city.

I'm from all over western pa. I've lived in Slippery Rock, Beechview in the south hills of the burgh, Mt. Washington/beltzhoover, now i reside in monroeville. Land of the rich yuppy children who all need to own Escalades on 24's. But the import scene is ok here there are alot of pickup races. IF any of you guys know interstate 376 right before monroeville check it out during the summer. You'll see everything from a ferrari or 2 all the way down to mod'd CRX's .

At least up in Monroeville you get a FEW guys who know their shit. I live down near South Park, and all the ricer boys sit and talk about their "V8 Civics" off of Corrigan Drive. You should check out our lil bike scene up on the Mt. every Thursday night when the weather breaks. We totally take over.

Oh, and you should come check out Carlisle Custom Compact Jam in May. Team Fast from Irwin area is going. It's usually a really awesome time. There's a thread around here somewhere about it.

2words: "Souside" properly known as the "South Side".... Barhopping and such. Also check out the Waterfront, and there's almost always some party in Oakland or Shadyside.
