Need Advice

CAR WAS RUNNING FINE,GOT HOME,TRIED TO START ENGINE TO GO TO WORK AND THE CAR (PA '93 93000 MILES) DID NOT DO ANYTHING JUST LIKE WHEN BATTERY IS DEAD,DID JUMPED THE CAR TO STARTED IT AND IT DID BUT TRYING TO TURN HEADLIGHTS ON THE CAR STOPPED COMPLETELY, TRIED TO JUMP IT AGAIN,STARTED ROUGHLY BUT IT DID AND TRYING TO BRAKE TO SWITCH TO REVERSE MODE CAR STOPPED AGAIN, ANY ADVICE WILL BE APPRECIATED.BY THE WAY, TRYING TO TURN HEADLIGHTS WITHOUT THE ENGINE ON, IT MAKES A NOISE RIGHT WHERE THE FUSES ARE (UNDER THE STEERING WHEEL) LIKE WHEN SOME WIRES ARE MAKING A SHORT CIRCUIT.

Re: Need Advice

Welcome to AF. Dead battery, bad alternator, bad cable connections, one or all of these can cause that.
