Po442

My 2003 Tundra has check engine light on. They say it is code #PO442.
I replaced the gas cap about a year ago and the light went off. Same story,
new cap again but the light is still on. I'm traveling out of state this weekend. Is a small Evaporation Emission Leak something to worry about.
Will it create a bigger problem if ignored. Thanks.

Re: Po442

It could be the sensor going bad if you already replaced the cap.

Re: Po442

There is a TSB regarding a P0442... it involved replacing the fuel filler neck.
