Escalade Air shocks

I have an 04 Escalade ESV. I had a dealer replace the air compressor and the left air shock. They also replaced a cable and an air tube.

Now I noticed that the compressor cycles approx every 3 minutes. I also hear air leaking. The dealer thinks it's normal.

Does anyone know anything about this?

I don't think it should cycle so much and I don't think I should hear air leaking.

Any comments Welcome.

Re: Escalade Air shocks

The dealer may have not checked the condition of your Cadillac Escalade cold air induction which is also important. The air should not be heard leaking because its suppose to be sealed in pressure.

Re: Escalade Air shocks

Definitely should have no recycling. Only activates compressor when load is changed; anything else is caused by a leak. Both shocks should have been replaced as they function differently as wear continues.
