Relocating A/C controls(1G)
Anyone ever seen this done to a 1G?
I'm thinking about putting the A/C controls and gauges in the glove compartment. Using plexiglass to form a face, much like the dash. Reason? I want to make my dash hold a laptop. I plan on running DSMLink, and want the laptop to be able to sit in the dash, without fear of it sliding around the passenger seat. This will be a daily driver (If I sell the BMW). I will keep the backseats and passenger seats. Just looking to do something a bit different with the interior. My neighbor works for a glass company. I can get deals (if not free) on the plexi. Any ideas/advice?
