Smile Problems with driver's window... HELP!

Hi everybody!
I'm having problems with the driver's window of my Suzuki Vitara 2000. If I open the window, when I try to close it, the window stops, and it won't lift completely!
I took the car to a guy to get it fixed and he said the problem was the window elevator, but he did not have that piece.
Does anybody know where I can find the piece in Houston, TX and what the price is approximately?
Thanks a lot!

Re: Problems with driver's window... HELP!

I'm having that same problem right now with my passenger window. I took the door panel off and confirmed that it is indeed the window regulator (or elevator as your guy calls it). There is a plastic piece that wears down over time and allows the window to tip forward.

There was somebody selling them on eBay, but I don't see any there currently.
