4L60e A/T compatibility

This is for a transmission swap, if possible.

Doner---1995 2wd/V6 Astro Van 4L60e transmisson
Recipient--1996 S10 pickup 2wd/2.2 4 cyl. with a 4L60e transmission.

The wiring on soelnoids and valve body may be different.
You will need to get the wiring diagram for both and change over as needed.

Thanks MT. I'm in Mexico so finding a shop manual or something with the wiring diagram will be difficult, but I'll try scouring the net to see what I can come up with. Dewey.

You might try some us public libraries .
A lot of them now have car repair info.
Here is a link to the All Data online sub.

But it is 24.95$ US a year for one car.
Second car is half price.
And sometimes E bay has some service manuals and or repair disks.

the wiring is different which is not a big deal but the bell housing is different so that trans will not work.
