System Too Lean

Im new to the forum and im not sure exactly where this thread should be, i posted it under the 06+ civic forum and im posting it here since it is a technical question.

My check engine light has been on for a little while, i finally put $60 down to buy a scanner and see whats up. the light had been on earlier for the throttle position sensor, but that was taken care of. this time the code is for "System too lean". I just recently installed a cold air intake, i am assuming that the inscreased air flow could be the cause, any tips on how i can fix it to balance the system?

• In the vast majority of cases, simply cleaning the MAF sensor does the trick. Consult your service manual for it's location if you need help. I find it's best to take it off and spray it with electronics cleaner or brake cleaner. Make sure you are careful not to damage the MAF sensor, and make sure it's dry before reinstalling
• Inspect all vacuum and PCV hoses, replace if necessary
• Check for a dirty fuel filter and proper fuel pressure

can also be a vaccum leak after the air pressure sensor. check for leaks
