Angry speedometer probs

got a 89' 2 door 4x4 blazer that has just recently been brought back to life. i drove it down the road and the speedo and odo worked fine but i realized i ddidnt have any brake light or extra fuses so i switched some fuses around and then bought new ones and no matter what my speedo wont work and my odo wont work

I would recheck all fuses with a 12 volt test light.
Look for 12 volts on both sides of them.

i wiggled the instrument fuse and drove it and all of it worked fine....but after i stopped somewere and started again it wouldnt work

Did you get out the old test light or volt/ohm meter and check for good 12 volts everyplace?
