New born Car seat
Me and my girlfriend are having our first child. Its due Jan. 3. This is more then enough time to aquire the right car but i was wondering can you fit a rear facing baby car seat in the back of a 00 Jeep Wrangler. I drive a prelude and there is no way a car seat is fitting in the back of my car. I will sell my car if it comes down to it tho.

Re: New born Car seat
You CAN fit the seat in the back, I did when my daughter was born. BUT....you'll have to put the passenger seat pretty far forward to make it fit.
Maybe an Unlimited would be a good idea, the extra room would allow the front passenger to sit with the seat in a more normal position. One problem with either version (and this is just general baby stuff I've learned from experience) is that it's a bit of a pain to reach into the back of a 2 door Wrangler, you have to fold the seat forward and reach back there either putting the baby in our taking out...it's a pain. Baby + Wrangler, I'd suggest the new 4 door version....

Re: New born Car seat
A good thing to go along with the car seat is a car seat cover, it kind of protects the seats in the car, especially if they're leather. My wife and I found this website and we've been happy with the car seat covers we've purchased.
