Door handle just broke up :-(
Hi guys,
I have an eclipse spyder 97 and when I tried to open the door tonight, the handle just stay in my hand. The two plastic parts that goes inside the door are broken. Do you think this can be fixed, or do I need to buy a new door handle? I really hope I can fix this, because I got a custom tricoat paint, and I don't really want to buy a new unpainted handle and must make it repaint. Thanks Simon

There is a way to fix the handle, but it is pretty time consuming and does not guarrantee it will last real long that way. Your better off just buying a cheap ebay handle or something and painting it yourself if you want to save money. Try a search on this site, this is a pretty common problem and I know one of the threads I read back in the day had a link to how to fix the handle.

Hell yeah that sucks. Been there done that it took the shop 2 maybe three hours to put that handle back on.. lucky i didn't have to pay for it.

MODS , 2g pistons, cyclone intake manifold, ported 1g head, 60mm tb, greddy type s bov, apex-i n1 exhaust , ngk spark plugs, 3 angle valve job, autometer boost/vac, autometer air/fuel ,autometer oil pressure ,cross drilled rotors ,turbonetics boost controller ,air filter ,remove dump tube, 14b turbo and the ac still doesn't work and its been almost 3 years
