Skyline Kpgc-10 work in progress

Hi guys, since we're having a big sale here in the Philippines and you can pick up the old school skyline models for 3USD a piece, we decided to have a group build and here is my contribution going to build it box stock basically except for a wheel swap.

here it is in primer stage

testfitting the new wheels - SSR reverse mesh, painted in alclad chrome

here is the final color choice, a sort of metallic bronze color. ties into the old school theme I think

building this together with Evil_hanzel and some other guys. we'll definitely post some pics when everyone is done with their kits.

both good and bad comments are welcome

Did you make a typo and mean 30USD...or did you really mean 3USD!? Holy cow how I'd love to get my hands on one! Looking good so far. How's the interior coming along?

Re: Skyline Kpgc-10 work in progress

thanks guys! for a 17 year old kit, the fit and finish is not too bad. I hate the generic fujimi chassis though. if you notice the front wheels, it looks like its pushed forward a little.

kevhw, yup i really meant 3 dollars cheap kits to practice painting with. unfortunately I haven't started the interior yet, any color suggestions other than flat black?

Pimped out white leather with sky blue stitching ...half of me sees that as a joke...the other half wonders what it will be like
