92 s-10 blazer died wont start

4.3 vortec

Was driving home and it lost power then died.

Try it recrank it will either do nothing but turn over or it will fire for just a brief second then die. It will not do the start and die one time after another it has to sit for a little while before it will do it again.

Ive checked the following so far.

Has fuel pressure at the check vavle i dont have nor can afford a gauge to say how much but it will squirt fuel when pump is engaged.

Has spark

A squirt does not tell us much.
Have you got good hot blue spark to all spark plugs.
Have you checked all fuses?
Squirt a little carb cleaner into intake and see if it will fire.
Do you have a OLD R-12 AC gauge and hose laying around.
They make good fuel and oil pressure tester.

The old r-12 hose fittings should screw right on to the fuel pressure test port on it.
I always take the gauge off of the manifold and just use the single hose and single gauge.
A brass fitting and
They make good oil pressure test gauges to.
