Ouch, is it smoking a lot? With that much oil on them I wold think you have a decent oil leak. Could be getting pass the valves.

Re: big problems: with pics

One observation here, plug 6 looks to have anti-sieze residue a bit high on the thread, as if too much was used on install.

Second observation is the consistancy of the build up around the tip, kinda like the valve covers leaked or are leaking, and the plug scrpaed up the oil going in (should have burned off), or more likiely coming out.

I would pull the new plugs in a few hundred miles as see what's up with them.

What do you think is in your oil pan or did I miss something above? Are you talking about the residue on the plugs? Maybe you need an engine flush or something. I have heard mixed reviews about getting them done but they do get the sludge and stuff out of the motor.

Re: big problems: with pics

To flush the engine, drain the oil and change the filter and fill it with cheap oil minus 1 quart. In place ofthat quart, add a quart of Ford auto trans fluid. Drive the car for 15-20 minutes (not hard driving). While the oil is still very warm, drain it and change the filter. Put in your normal oil and drive like normal. Ford trans fluid has LOTS of strong detergents in it and they will break down any deposites in the engine and allow them to drain out. It will also free up any stuck oil control rings on the pistons too.

Re: big problems: with pics

ohh no no. sorrry. its cuz i broke off( ?) a piece of the oil level sensor? i think? my sensor came back weird shaped.. like theres something missing. unless thats how the stock sensor is supposed to look.. it was jammed so i yanked on it a little (it was hitting the cat so i angled it) and then it came out. now im just afraid theres something inside the oil pan and that it might jam up the oil pump.. causing some catastrophic failuire @_@

Re: big problems: with pics

There is a pick up screen to protect the pump, but , all things equal, better safe than sorry.
