please help
i bought a Sony cdmx-8800 cd mp3 player i wanted to test it b4 i install it how do i do that and what color wires thnk u for ur help n thoughts

You can just put the power wire and the memory wire to the positive terminal of your car battery and ground out the ground wire it should turn on. You wont be able to hear how it sounds but It'll at least let you know if it works.
I'm not sure how healthy it would be for the deck though, i've done it many times and never had a problem yet.
