2.5 Altima 2.5S - Sunroof not working.

Hello.

I have a 2003 Altima 2.5S. The sunroof had stopped working about a year ago. about 1.5 years ago - it stopped working, and then it worked again after 2 months... and then it stopped working, till now.

When I press the tilt / slide button - no response. I took the switch area out, and I can see a silver metallic box lookalike - i am assuming that is where the motor is. I looked at the circuit board for the sunroof switch - it doesnt look like it is loose. Any suggestion what else I can check?

I have already tried the "Reset sunroof" procedure from the manual - but no help. I also tried reseting the battery - no luck.

I wanted to change the fuse - but I cannot find the one that is for the sunroof.

Can someone give me some insights as to,

1. What else I can check?
2. is the switch more likely to be faulty, or the motor?
3. Which one is the motor - or how can i run a test to see if motor is working?
4. any thing else that i can do to make the sunroof work?
