HPT spark advance

So i have been running 9* advance with 94 octane in the ecotec, no cam or anyhting yet, just trying to work out what sort of advance people are running in know one or 2 people have hpt here, ecotec? when i write and then run i san and even on 9* i didn't get any kr at all. Just trying to work out how far i can push it.

Everything we have at the shop as all be retarded and not advanced... sooo, i've got nothing for you. Derk tuned his with HPT, but he's got an OHV.

Umm... I know we were able to pull up to 25* of timing before we got knock on that 3500HD chevy. LOL!! We were just curious how far we could do it before that.

The software is too much fun.

hmm, maybe i'll just increase 2* at a time until my times drop off or i feel it slowing or get kr
