Z3 from storage

Hi,
I am about to take my Z3 out of storage. It has not been driven or started in over a year and a half.

I read somewhere that it should not be started until the oil has been drained and replaced. Is this true? Is there anything else that should be done to ensure this start up goes without a hitch?
