I just joined AF but I've been using all you guys since I bought my 2001 Blazer LT a year and a half ago. In fact, I've been building a library of problems and those same problems solved. I figure ... I might run into the same thing down the road and wouldn't it be nice to pop in a CD, do a keyword search and pull up the solution?

My first Blazer, my first SUV and (besides a small sports car in my mid twenties) the best "fun" vehicle I've ever owned.

I bought a 2001 LT for 4500 cash. High mileage, one owner and ... I promise ... a third grade teacher in a town about 200 miles from my house (we found a Christmas card from her class in the jack/rear cover screen housing ... they bought her a charcoal grill). The truck is immaculate with two exceptions - a dingy in the left rear bumper and no radio knobs (can't find them anywhere). All highway miles.

Had to back flush the heater core to unclog, AC had a leak at the pressure switch and I'm about to replace the blower fan ( works wonderful for about an hour then volume of air flow slows to nothing ... followed by a burnt smell).

It's a high mileage truck ... it'll need stuff. I'm grinning ear to ear.

I love my truck.

I love this forum.

What a productive, informative and useful place to find.
