Welcome to AF. That advice was silly. Napa may have them, but Kanter.com does for sure.

Re: 61 dynamic 88 brakes?

Napa does carry these older brakes, though they might have to order them- next day delivery.

I have a 66 , I had to replace the drums and all the salvage yards were crapped out.
So I called Napa and they ordered me some new one's they arent cheap!

Good Luck

Re: 61 dynamic 88 brakes?

im pretty sure the pads are available everywhere...at least to order. a good local parts store should be able to get them in a few hours or a day or two. i have a bunch of shoes for a 66 dynamic 88 that are near new...dont think theyd fit though. kanter.com is awesome also try fusick.com thay have a some big body olds parts. another good resource is billionsandtrillions.com its a salvage yard but they have a lot of big olds parts. ive found some rare stuff there and the prices and shipping are fair. half the fun in these cars is the search for parts...or is that the agravation? im not sure...those mustang guys have it so easy dont they?

Hey Mrbizness1, I think your pic links are not workin......
Something I liked was the side wing windows with the crank. Almost like AC. Uh and the gigantic gas pedal.

Here are a few pics of my rust bucket.
Mice done moved in and built a condo

Still has good glass and most of the interior trim/handles etc. I'll be parting it out on ebay this summer, just havnt had time to strip it down & pull the 425 Rocket out
That'll be going in a Model T probly, realy want to build a sick hot rod with a bigass V8

The 425......
