climate control lights????

I have a 97 z24 and i put a white face gauge in my car and i just noticed that the lights behind the climate control dont work.{and they did before} So i checked all the fuses and they were fine. I riped everything back apart and took the climate control out and checked the bulbs and the look fine???? I noticed that my #2 spot on blower dont work either. What are my odds of just changing the climate control to fix both problems????{lights and blower}

Re: climate control lights????

blower is unrelated to the light, the lights is proably a connector that's been disturbed. the blower however is the resisotr for the motor that's located behind the motor under the dash in the passenger footwell it's not fun the change that and about $25 form a gm dealer, when i change one i take the pass seat out to make it easier

Re: climate control lights????

you will start to lose the other settings slowly, 1 will probalby go next and then 3, you can leave it until that's that case, it wont cause anything other than annoying the shit out of you
