Unhappy No power

I have a 2002 40th anniversary edition, love my car its the 4th Grand Prix I have had, and each with its own set of problems...........I have about 61000 miles on it and it has recently started having a problem when you accelerate it bogs down and wont go, you can't accelerate through it you kind of just have to slowly wait for it to decide it wants to go faster, it doesn't do it all the time, but it is becoming more frequent........any suggestions?

Re: No power

Since you have a 2002 L36/L67 Grand Prix take note of the following advisory in reference to CAT convertor at our Tips & Maintenance subforum.

The GM initial CAT warranty is 8 years or 80K miles, whichever comes first. Warranty extension per the notice takes it to 10 years or 120K miles, whichver comes first. So don't wait too long to take it to a Pontiac dealer. Although your problem could be something else the CAT convertor is suspect based on your symptoms.
