6 speed
does anyone know if the altima ser has the same six that the ser specv does....just wondering so i know how much abuse they will handle

The set up is a little different. I believe 1st gear is longer. The tranny is the same, dif clutch, flywheel, 1st gear? I could be wrong... very wrong, so don't quote me.

Trannys are completely different. The one in the Altima SE-R is the same one that's in the Maxima 6-spd, and they are much tougher than the Spec's.
