i have a 98 24v DOHC and you need to take the intake mainifold off to acces them it's not too hard.

As others will chime in soon, you do not need to remove the mainifold, at least not on the 1999 24v motor. I'm not saying it's easy. I remember loosening the coil pack (small bolt at each corner) and using a sparkplug socket and certain extensions (somewhere around 6" in length), replacing each of the hidden plugs.

Yep, that's how I've done it too. I remove the four bolts for the coil pack, unplug the trigger connection, and lay the assembly out of the way. The rear 3 plugs are actually quite easy to get to then.

Be sure when reattaching the coil pack assembly to connect the ground strap.
