98' malibu break noise

I have a 98' malibu that has run fine for years. The other day, the breaks started to squeek and if i pushed hard enough I could hear it grinding. I drove to the parts store and got new rotors and pads. After we put them on, The left side started squeeking right when I pulled out of the driveway. I pulled it back in and took apart the drivers side several times to make sure everything was on fine and my dad looked it over and nothing was wrong. I drove it for a bit and it got better but now whenever I drive for awhile and it gets warmed up it starts squeeling bad. Like when I hit the breaks I can hear it over my music and other people can hear it to.

If I drive it real easy and dont break hard a lot it wont do it until I start to stop quicker and it gets hot. the squeak is like eck..eck..eck. not a constant eeecckkkk. lol.

any ideas? my dad is stumped. Thanks.

Re: 98' malibu break noise

Is The Master Overfilled?

Secure, And Jack Up The Front-both Sides

Block The Rear Wheels

Place The Transmission In Neutral

Spin Both Wheels By Hand.

See If The Niosy Side Spins Harder.

If It Does, Loosen The Bleed Screw For That Caliper To Remove Hydralic Pressure. If The Wheel The Spins Freely The Caliper Piston Is Binding. Or The Brake Line Is Constricted At The Frame.

If Not, The Side-bolts On The Caliper Are Hanging Up

Re: 98' malibu break noise

I took it to graham tire and turns out, there are 2 thin metal protectors around the rotors and they were bent, rubbing against the rotor making the noise. My mistake, didnt even look at it, I noticed it was bent and it never hit me lol. Thanks for the help.
