My door lock is broken

Okay so my door locks are not working now and its really starting to bother me. When I push the button to lock or unlock the door i hear a sound but it doesnt lock. I changed all the fuses for the fuse box on the driver side and still nothing. The stock alarm system isnt working either, nor is my stock remote. Any ideas as to how to fix this problem fellas? Thanks in advance guys!

Re: My door lock is f*cked

Sounds like the door lock accuators are going bad, or you have something misaligned in there... I would pull off your door panels and take a look and see if one of the clips broke or came unsnapped and isn't allowing the pins to move correctly now. If they are all fine, I would look into the accuators.

Also, I edited your thread title a bit. Please avoid using words like that in thread titles.

Re: My door lock is broken

I have a similar problem, only mine is with the power window. My driver's side window has been down for the past 2 weeks and I can't get it to roll back up. I can hear a clicking sound when I press it down, but when I try to roll it up I get nothing.

Did it pop off the track? I would pull the door panel off and see if you can find anything...

This reminds me how much I need to get a lot of things scanned for on here...

It's not off track, that's the first thing I checked..and I can't see anything else that would be causing it other than either the motor or the switch. I guess I'll have to take the panel off once again and try to bypass the switch.

(Sorry Metal, I didn't mean to steal your thread)
