engine question

I am the proud owner of and 81 firebird with a blown rod (lucky me). I was wondering if anyone knew if a 360 out of a 79 new yorker would fit the transmission or would I have to get a new one?

Re: engine question

That 360 is a chrysler engine... NOTHING about it would fit your Firebird, engine mounts, transmission, exhaust, fuel feed lines....nothing.

Re: engine question

what he said, now why would you even consider putting a 360 out of a chrysler in a firechicken? seriously, a junker 350 isnt hard to come by!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
