I just hope somebody takes it from his cheatin ass. There is no way that a guys head can grow as big as his has gotten over the last 10-15 years..naturally. I'm hoping Andruw Jones can have more impressive years and eventually do it!! This years looking bad tho

As much of a Braves fan that i am, there is no way Andruw Jones can even come close to that record. Now him and Chipper on the other hand can get the most HR's by a duo if they stick on the same team after this year. Andruws contract is up at the end of the year.

yeah that sucks. Although he's having a horrible year offensively, I think he'll come out of it. I wish they could come up with enough to keep him. Perhaps he would stay for less...I heard John Shuerholz sp? talking about that recently.
ps i still hate bonds

Bonds is a self centered jerk only concerned with 756 so he can have something to hold over the critics that point out his obvious steroid use in the mid-late 90s. However, Bonds pre-steroids was a Cooperstown lock, and at this point the steroid cloud is so heavy he HAS to hit 756 just to guarantee he'll get in. I'd still vote for him.
But maybe you can take solace in the fact that barring any career ending or altering injury A Rod will break 756 in time. I wish Ken Griffey Jr had stayed healthy his whole career cause I'm sure he'd be right there with Bonds and his head never swelled to watermelon size
