new altima owner, baffled by sideways motor
hello, im new to the altima world, i just spent my last 2 years owning a 97 s10 blazer, and figured it was time for a new car. so now its time to relearn a new motor and transmission. i just recently purchased an 02 altima 3.5 se. well today i was lookin at doing a tune up because bank one isnt firing as well as it should be, i pulled the plugs out and noticed they were quite worn. found out car has never had a tune up in its 100000 mile life. to my unfortunate suprise i cant reach the rear plugs, looks like i have to remove the upper intake manifold to get them. im hoping im wrong. does any one have any suggestions on how to do a tune up on these?!

Re: new altima owner, baffled by sideways motor
you shouldnt have to pull the plenum but it is a btch to sneak them out and i beleve those motor have platnum plugs which means 105k tune up......
