05-06 Civic Manual Vs 04 Impala Ls Auto

Im just curious what u guys think if a civic raced an impala stock cuz one of my friends have an impala and id love to beat his ass

05-06 civics are 2 different generations. The Impala LS comes with a 3.8 v6 pushin 200 horses. No 05 civic will touch that. Perhaps an 06 SI can play with it.

the Impala is a DOG. I can smoke one in my 03, but I've got a CAI and am ridin' sans muffler, so idk.

okay, I'm bored so I went and looked this up...the Impala comes with either a 3.4 or a 3.8 V6, the 3.4 has 180 hp (the hp for the 3.8 wasn't listed) so first you should find out what engine your friend has...the 05 civic has 127 hp stock and the 06 has 140. the 0-60 for a stock 05 is something like 8.3 seconds with a manual, maybe better if you can really drive, but I don't know the 0-60 for the impala. HOWEVER, i used to have an 01 ford mustang that was pushing 220 hp (I put a full headers-back exhaust on the bitch) with a 3.8 liter v6 and an autotragic transmission and it could only squeak under the 8 second mark going from 0-60. the impala weighs a little bit more than the 'stang and only has 180 hp, so the 0-60 time is probably anywhere from 8 to 9 seconds (and probably closer to 9 because impalas, and chevys in general, suck.)
but, you never know until you try. just remember to watch out for da PO-LICE.
