New Mustangs coming into production

Well they are already selling the new Cobra and the Mach I. I heard next year they might start producing Boss 302's again, then the year after that they are changing the style around, possibly some kind of retro look from the 60's.

My question is, once they change the style, does anyone know if they are going to keep making the Mach I's and Boss Mustangs? I'm not exactly a hardcore Ford fan but still I think its pretty cool that Ford is recreating its old cars, that would be a shame if they only make the Mach I and Boss for only a year and just get rid of it.

Some are saying they should keep the Mach1 in production. It would be a stepping stone between the GTs and the Cobras. Sort of a line filler. The GT with 260 hp the Mach1 with 300 hp and the cobra with 390 hp. Sounds good to me.

.

I agree I think they should keep them as well. Why the hell not it gives people more variety to choose from. Everyone has a damn Mustang nowadays so lets see some different types of these.

It would be nice to see the Boss 302 again as well. Supposedly they are going through with it next year.

I think the '04-1/2 Cobra will have a bored 4.6L Cobra motor to a 5.0L Cobra motor. Then the next year or 2 they'll come out with a 5.0L Cobra motor thats Supercharged. The styling of the '04-1/2 Mustang will be similar to that of the older Mustangs.

I don't know bro . . .

according to blue oval news----the switch to the 5.0 engine, doesn't include a blower---in fact, I would agree witht hat rationale---since the 5.0 hardware----can be easily put together to make 500hp.

Don't you ever read the posts before you respond!? Thats what the dealer told me also. If everything goes well with the 5.0L Cobra motor they'll PROBABLY slap on a blower (Eaton) a year or 2 after!

They'll make a 302 but it'll be the mod motor. It'll be the 4.6 just bored or stroked to a 5.0L. Also the building of the Mach 1 started on Friday.
